The Dealers' Choice Bundle Program
A creative program designed to benefit
dealer/retailers and vendors in ways never before introduced to the
Sports Industry.
How It Works:
- If
market research tells us anything, today’s dealer/retailer is a
conservative buyer.
This means he watches how much he buys, the cost of
the items, and how well his customers buy these products. Therefore, our
Dealers Choice bundling program helps to address these issues and many
more.
To begin with, vendors that are participating in
our virtual shows must:
- Want
to participate in a multi-vendor marketing program.
- This
is done by offering one or more products to SportsSales to offer in
a bundling package.
- The
price is reduced along with other products in the bundle.
- SportsSales
then defines the length of the bundle and over all cost to dealers.
- Vendor
ships the quantity we specify (along with his marketing literature)
to one of two fulfillment houses we currently have agreements
with.
- Dealers
order the special bundle until it is gone or until the offering
period expires (usually 3 months). Dealer will order through secure
server from the SportsSales website which limits customer service
time. Fulfillment house ships package to dealer.
- Vendor
is paid by the month if the total due amounts to $100 or more;
otherwise, he will be paid when the bundle times out or in the month
his due amount reaches $100 or more.
- At
the end of the offering period, vendor may let us offer the
remaining product at an onsite auction to dealers only, or may issue
a UPS pick up at his expense to recover his remaining inventory.
Advantages to Dealers
- Now
you may sample many different products that may become instant
hits with your customers for a cost that is below regular
wholesale for numerous products.
- The
freight is also cheap because it is spread out over numerous
products.
- Billing
is a perfect situation-- you prepay with a credit card, without
the hassle of setting up numerous new products in your systems
(catalogs, bookkeeping, vendors to pay, etc.).
- You
can review this “mini-show" package of marketing materials
with your customers, thereby evaluating easily many valuable niche
products that can make a difference in your profit line. Best of
all, this helps you alleviate major buying mistakes by purchasing
too much of an experimental product, only to discover it will
never be a prosperous industry product.
Advantages to Vendors:
- In
all probability, there will be some cash flow of a product or
service which might otherwise be difficult to persuade dealers to
purchase full cases. This program will also overcome the high cost
of shipping only “one” or a few items.
By being sold in a bundle, your product and marketing
materials will go to numerous dealers. Even as a sample, you will
save on freight and postage. In addition, you will get your product
directly into the hands of the most important person on earth
(next to the buying public), which is the dealer retailer. The
dealer retailer has the potential to make any product the next
“Nike” of tomorrow.
To
